Relationship Reflection Prompts

Every relationship is made up of multiple layers. These prompts are a gentle way to notice how yours feels across a few key areas.

  • • Do I feel emotionally seen and understood in this relationship?

    • Can I share my inner world without feeling like I’m too much?

    • When I’m vulnerable, do I feel met with care or distance?

  • • Do I feel comfortable and safe in our physical connection?

    • Does physical closeness feel mutual and wanted?

    • Do our needs around touch and intimacy feel acknowledged?

  • • Do we value similar things when it comes to life, family, and the future?

    • Do I feel aligned with the direction we’re moving together?

    • When our values differ, do we approach that with respect?

  • • Do I feel heard when something matters to me?

    • How do we handle disagreement or tension?

    • After conflict, do I feel closer, distant, or unresolved?

  • • Do I feel supported in my growth and responsibilities?

    • Do we feel like a team when life gets hard?

    • Can I rely on this person when I need help or encouragement?

  • • Does this relationship allow me to grow into myself?

    • Do we support each other’s personal development?

    • Do I feel more expanded or more limited over time?

  • • Do we laugh and enjoy everyday moments together?

    • Does being together feel easy, playful, or nourishing?

    • Do I feel connected in the small, ordinary moments?

  • • Do I feel emotionally safe and secure in this relationship?

    • Can I trust this person’s words and actions to align?

    • Do I feel respected, protected, and considered?

There’s no need to answer every question. Notice what feels easy to reflect on, and what feels tender. Both are information.
